Let's-a launch!

The Entelect Challenge team has been hard at work - developing the game, revamping the website, and building the suspense. But… we cannot reveal much more than that just yet.

All we can say is that the date for our official launch of the 2023 Entelect Challenge is 14 April!
Keep an eye out for more communications and excitement regarding the day. The theme will also be officially revealed, but in the meantime go and check out our socials to have a guess at what it might be…

See you all then!

I dont think you need to worry too much about building the suspense…

I mean, it pretty much starts building the week after comic-con…

Looking forward. I really want to test whether or not that few days of bot rebuilding last year had an impect on my bot code as well…
I really feel like the code I pushed for last year going on 4 hours of sleep a night for 3 or so days coding virtually every waking hour. pushed my reasoning and planing to new heights.

“Lets just do it properly the first time around”

I have a tendency to overcomplicate things.
The amount of times where my bot improved with me deleting older code has amazed me.

Cause initially that improves the bot, but a few revisions later. Its a drag.
So my goals for this year is to write meaningful code.
So instead of working on a solution as a whole.

I will work on sub problems and try and write the perfect solutions to those.
Thereafter stitch things up.

I will also weight any RNG directly to probability.
In the past I just guess.

Well, hard to plan before I have any idea whats ahead.
But for me this challenge has already started.
I intend on making a real mess of things this year.

But as an assassin. Clean moves. Elegant.
Not a barbarian that performs well because he just swings everywhere…

So if i had expectations of myself this year its that.
Write less code.
Less code means less opportunity for bugs.

Im hyper excited as usual.
Looking forward.

The time is coming.

I do like the new event structure.
2 Rounds might make things easier than 3. And more will know early they are through.

I’m looking forward to some extreme testing here.
Its really time for AI tests again…

I assume the game is not ready as yet, tried syncing up my submission to the portal to validate if I’m able to push code and unable to as yet.
