Thanks for the great uptake over the long weekend! All of us at the team have been overwhelmed by the response, and we are so excited to see the bots you all put forward this year!
We have released a new version of the starter-pack, available here.
What’s been updated:
- Updates the readme’s to include far more detail, as well as a guide on implementing a bot from scratch
- Updated the way we process speed during a tick to maintain distance correctly
- Updated the way we process heading during a tick to maintain the resulting end position on the correct heading
- Updated the way timeouts work for the runner, so that it will shutdown correctly after a timeout

If you have cloned the repository to use docker or just to investigate, please ensure your clone is up to date!
