Hey there! We have just released 2025.1.0, which finally brings the visualiser to life! Please see the release notes below, or at Release v2025.1.0 · EntelectChallenge/2025-Zooscape · GitHub
Refer to the README.md on the GitHub repo for more information about the visualiser!
New Features
Added the debug visualiser!
Built with Godot
Currently connects to a running game engine, log reading will be coming soon.
Simply run the executable with a running game engine.
Download it from the release notes.
Adjusted points per pellet to 64 to enable more variation between players
Increased max ticks to 2000 to give players more time to munch up all the pellets
With the max ticks increased to 2000 does this mean the maps are going to get bigger for the tournaments?
The reason I’m asking is because if you have 4 basic path finding bots running they can clear all the pellets on both given worlds before the 1000 ticks anyway.
I guess what I’m actually asking is, what will the first tournament’s specs be if you can give us more information around that?
Things like:
Map size
Number of zookeepers
Portals (from one side of the map to the other) enabled or not
Will any power ups be announced before then - that kind of thing
Hi @styphoiz!
Thanks for the feedback. We just adjusted it to have a better camera angle for now, we might look at rotating later. We’ve updated the GitHub release with the new version, so please download again, and let us know if you have any issues
